Payroll Coordinator

Staffmax is aiding a client in the hire of a temporary Payroll Clerk for a 1-3 month term. The term length depends on when the permanent staff member is cleared to return to work. This is a Monday to Friday, day shift position located in Downtown Calgary.

Duties:

• Performing data entry and reconciling timecards
• Processing payroll
• Answering inquiries from employees and vendors
• Remitting payroll taxes and governmental reporting
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience with 'Blue Canvas' payrolling system as asset
• Experience with 'Inclusion' payrolling system an asset
• Previous experience doing payroll required
• Must pass a criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Search
• Must have or obtain both an Adult and Child Abuse Registry check
• Must be able to start ASAP
