Reporting to Director of Finance
$25.65 to $28.87 an hour – potential to be higher for the right individual

Located in Mitchell Manitoba – 6 min drive from Steinbach

Duties:

Biweekly payroll for 200-250 full and part-time staff
Enter information into Payworks
Start Immediately full training on Payworks software provided
Oversee and manage our bi-weekly payroll process, ensuring every paycheck is accurate and timely.
Tackle urgent data entry tasks and adapt to new challenges with ease.
Stay ahead of payroll regulations and standards, keeping our processes in line with industry best practices.
Work closely with our HR and finance teams to resolve payroll issues and drive improvements.
Assist during audits and financial reviews, showcasing your expertise and contributing to our success.

Must-Haves:

Relevant educational background and certification from the National Payroll Institute (PCP) is a bonus.
Proven experience in managing payroll with a keen eye for detail.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
2-5 years of payroll experience
Familiarity with payroll software and systems such as Payworks and QuickBooks.
You must maintain legal eligibility to work in Canada.
