Work for a leading Independent, locally owned Insurance Brokerage in Winnipeg easily accessible by vehicle or bus.

Our client is seeking a Personal Lines Broker with shared Autopac responsibilities

Duties:

• Manage/Build a large book of business by servicing existing & new clients
• Process new business, renewals and policy change requests on broker management system as well as various company portals
• Provide superior service to existing clients with a focus on retention and cross selling opportunities where opportunity exists
• Work effectively with all members of the insurance team to obtain a clear understanding of our clients insurance needs

Qualifications/Skills:

· Candidates must possess a general insurance license from the Insurance Council of Manitoba, a level 2 license is an asset

· Demonstrated experience with Personal Lines of insurance is required, including managing a book of business within a team environment

· IWS certification required

· Demonstrated high level of proficiency in MS products including Word, Excel, Outlook

· Working knowledge of Broker Management system, experience with TAM  or EPIC is an asset

· Flexibility and a positive team player approach with effective communication skills

Must Haves:

• Level 1 from ICM OR level II General Insurance License
• IWS Certification (Autopac)
• 6 months experience in Autopac
• Excellent Customer service, great computer skills including MS Office and Excel
• Unbelievable attention to detail
