We are seeking for qualified candidate for position Pilot Plant Lead to one of our clients in Etobicoke.

Location: Etobicoke
Pay rate: $25-$26/hr
Shift timing- Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm.


Position Summary: The Pilot Plant Technician (Lead) will be an integral part of the operations team, contributing to 
the daily operation of the Pilot Plant and ensuring that tests are completed on schedule. These 
tests a critical part of developing Neo-Pure for more foods and improving the accompanying 
equipment that makes up the Food Safety System.

Job Duties:
Pilot Plant 


Prepare food products, chemicals, and equipment required to conduct large-scale 
experimental runs (forklift use required)
• Operate food processing equipment for research and development
• Record observations and data during each run, entering data into MS Excel
• Obtain samples according to run request sheets
• Complete run checklists and run forms for each run
• Align Pilot Plant activities with the commercial prioritization calendar
• Use the commercial prioritization calendar to plan for resources and time management
• Communicate with the Operations Manager for run updates, conflicts, or potential 
cancellations
• No runs start after 3 pm. If there is any delay with the system. To make proper changes 
to the calendar, it will have to be communicated to Lorena or Gianni immediately or not 
later than 3 pm.
• If a run takes longer than planned, it must be communicated to Lorena or Gianni 
immediately or not later than 4 pm.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report any discrepancies
• Clean and perform preventative maintenance on equipment after every use
• Perform daily checks and ensure equipment is off when it is not being used.
• Give direction to support staff in the warehouse to complete daily tasks

Warehouse:

• Perform inventory controls, and complete inventory logs, and keep quality standards high 
for audits
• Receive and process warehouse products and other deliveries (pick, unload, label, store, 
distribute)
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, 
wrap, label, ship)
• Perform daily inspections to make sure the cold storage is secured and working properly
• Food is packaged and sealed after use at the end of the day.
• Food: seed and nuts are stored in cold storage.
• Drainage system is maintained, cleared and disinfected 
• Clean systems and contribute to all preparation required for shipping
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment daily
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and colleagues 
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures and safety rules
• Make sure all the Warehouse emergency exits are closed at the end of the day

Inventory Management
 
• Follows incoming and outgoing inventory processes. 
• Follow Inventory systems (Smartsheet)
• Manages product tracking within warehouse facility. 

Equipment/Supplies 

• Controls and maintains company equipment in working order. 
• Maintains adequate installation/delivery/warehouse supplies and recommend purchase of 
replacement stock as necessary. 
• Request propane tanks for Forklift.
Processes and Procedures 
• Ensures that industry standard receiving procedures and documentation are followed. 
• Ensures that all AGRI-NEO INC. internal processes and procedures are followed including 
return good process, incoming inventory process and outgoing inventory process. 
• Ensures all safety guidelines and procedures are followed.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 years experience in a warehouse environment preferred 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout a shift 
Forklift license required (Counterbalance)
• Working knowledge of inventory management, processes, and procedures 
• Some knowledge of health and safety best practices 
• Extensive furniture product knowledge, including repair and servicing; knowledge of the 
trucking industry and proper product handling 
• Good understanding of field installation practices and processes 
• Good administrative discipline and organization 
• Provide the highest level of service to ensure client satisfaction
