Plant Supervisor - Food Service

Staffmax is hiring an experienced Production Supervisor to join our clients' team at Smithfield, RI food manufacturing facility.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of all aspects of production ensuring high quality food products are produced in accordance with all operating standards.

Responsibilities:
• Create labor, production schedules.
• Produce food products in accordance with provided specifications including quality and quantity.
• Hire, train & manage teammates to ensure desired performance is achieved and all operating standards are adhered to.
• Provide hands on experience in day to day operations.
• Ensure and maintain a high level of sanitation, food safety, and safe working environment, while operating under defined timelines.
• Other duties as required to ensure the business runs smoothly

Qualifications:
• Previous supervisory/management experience in a food processing facility.
• Fluency in Spanish a plus
• Solid knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP plant experience is an asset.
• Must be computer literate (MS Office)
• Ability to work in a refrigerated, cold refrigerated climate

Salary: $45,000/annum
