Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator

Staffmax is currently hiring a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator for one of our esteemed clients in Winnipeg. This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primarily set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines that process plastic compounds through dies to create continuous plastic products such as profiles, pipes, sheets, or films

• Change dies for production changes and ensure proper machine setup

• Monitor material quality and perform regular quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools

• Perform minor equipment repairs and adjustments as needed

• Maintain continuous machine operation in a 24/7 production environment

• Lift materials up to 50 lbs as required

Shift & Compensation:

• Seeking a candidate for the evening shift (3 PM – 11 PM)

• Morning shift may be considered for the right candidate

• Pay: $20–$22 per hour

• Benefits begin after completing the 3-month probation period
