Process Operator (Fluid) - Temporary for 2 weeks

Staffmax is currently assisting our client in Winnipeg, MB in the recruitment process for a Milk Quality Control Technician. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the adherence to milk standards, encompassing chemical testing, machine connectivity, and computer operations.
 

Hours: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, from 6:45 AM to 6:45 PM (weekday shifts will be rotated and must be available for weekend shifts)
Wage: $19.00 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Term: Up to 2 months
Location: Winnipeg, MB

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical testing and adhere to milk quality standards.
• Connect lines to each machine, monitor concentration levels, and manage computer systems.
• Handle approximately 18-20 trucks per day, performing testing within a strict 12-minute timeframe per truck.
• Navigate stairs frequently, so physical fitness is essential.

Additional Qualifications:

• GMP Knowledge: Proficient in handling samples, food products, equipment, and hoses. Basic understanding of food security and safety.
• Physical Capability: Physically capable of climbing stairs multiple times during the shift to take samples from trucks. Workers will lean forward to extract samples from tankers.
• Testing Equipment: Comfortable using different testing machines to analyze milk samples.
• Computer Skills: Intermediate computer skills required to update receiving data and results on our systems.
• CIP or Chemical Handling: Experience in Clean-in-Place (CIP) or chemical handling is preferred.
