Description:

Staffmax is aiding an ISO certified company with the hire of a full-time, permanent Production Assistant. This is a Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm position, located right here in Calgary. The Production Assistant is responsible to perform duties associated with production and manufacturing of products, receiving of goods and supplies and shipping.

Duties:

  • Assist in production and packaging products for shipping
  • Machine operation
  • Process ERP transactions
  • Complete required documentation
  • Warehouse clean up
  • Quality control checks as required
  • Inventory counts

Qualifications:

  • MUST BE FORKLIFT AND PALLET TRUCK CERTIFIED
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs consistently throughout the day
  • Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work independently or as a team
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • WHMIS an asset
  • Safety certificates including first aid an asset
  • Experience with ERP transactions an asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel an asset
