  • Support training, mentoring, and performance development. Ensure team members are skilled, equipped, and motivated.
  • Address quality concerns and process inefficiencies through root cause analysis and practical solutions.
  • Enforce compliance with labor agreements, company policies, and production standards with fairness and consistency.
  • Keep a pulse on budget metrics, shift performance, and production KPIs. Report progress and raise issues with clarity and urgency.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Someone with a great work ethic, dedicated, willing to go the extra steps to make things happen.  Needs to be energetic and good with dealing with and thriving in a high-paced environment.
  • Some manufacturing experience is required; however, does not need to be overly experienced.
  • Technical background (mechanical or electrical) would be considered an asset, possibly a CET or equivalent.
  • Lean Manufacturing understanding and familiar with Basic manufacturing processes (Safety, Training, Quality Systems, BOM, ERP, Drawings, Work Instructions, Fastening methods, Torque, Bonding, workplace organization (5S)).
  • Problem-solving experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Someone who wants to lead people, and who knows how to build and sustain a team - possibly someone with coaching experience, and an understanding of how to motivate and drive a team.
  • Unionized experience with the ability to show how they have worked to resolve issues within the workplace.
  • Exposure to unionized settings and comfort working within collective agreements
  • Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to coach and develop diverse teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP or production software experience
  • A natural problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and urgency

Perks:
  • Immediate day one medical, dental, vision from your first day
  • Free basic dental
  • Company-paid life, AD&D, and short-term disability coverage
  • Paid time off, paid holidays, and employee assistance program
  • Optional coverage for critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity

If you’re ready to lead from the front, energize your team, and help shape the future of manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you.
