Production Supervisor

Staffmax is hiring experienced production supervisors for our client in the food production industry.

You would be working for a crown corporation with a fantastic benefits program centered around employee satisfaction and retention.

Duties:

- Manage operations and staffing levels on a day-to-day basis

- Ensure efficient use of raw materials, labour, and capital resources

- Promote and follow lean manufacturing initiatives

- Work with shift leads to monitor and train production staff to execute and perform duties ensuring employee safety, compliance to the Occupational Health & Safety Act, HACCP, and GMP

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and collective agreements

- Communicate regularly with all levels of staff in meetings and prepare reports

Qualifications

- 4 years’ supervisory or leadership experience in production or manufacturing environment

- Experience with quality compliance with all HACCP procedures

- Previous experience working within a production and manufacturing facility

- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs, and physically capable of completing duties as assigned

- Must be available to work overtime due to operational requirements
