Production Support Associate/Analyst

We are hiring for Production Support Associate/Analyst. This is a full time permanent job.

Salary : $75000 -$95000 + bonus + benefits.
Skill Requirements:
1. WebLogic / Spring Boot experience – 2+ years experience
2. Core Java and C language development knowledge / experience – 2+ years experience
3. Expertise in Database (Oracle, DB2) for writing simple & complex SQL queries
4. Deploy fixes to lower environments, test and promote to higher environments
5. SDLC and Change Management process experience and knowledge (working experience with ITIL Service Now tool)
6. Experience with Content Management Technologies (IBM CMOD, ICN) Must Haves:
7. Development experience using Shell / Perl / Python scripting
8. Development experience using Java and C language
9. Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues with various software components
10. Good knowledge of Debugging, defect fixing and maintenance of Software programs
11. Working experience and good knowledge Application / System monitoring tool (e.g. Reveille monitoring system) to configure and maintain application systems / components monitoring and alerting and produce system statistics and reporting
Key Accountabilities:
1. Monitoring would include constantly reviewing dashboards and monitoring alerts for any anomalous behavior. They are expected to perform detailed incident analysis and provide solutions/work around as temporary solutions.
2. Continuously strive to improve the stability of production environment by partnering closely with key stakeholders on setting up, maintaining and monitoring applications/systems, ensuring availability targets are met
3. Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems, options and recommendations for prompt resolution; communicate project status and provide timely escalation of issues to ensure project objectives are met
4. Review all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations and contribute for improvements.
5. Candidates are expected to have and maintain a Run-Book which they can use for immediate resolutions. They should collaborate with any other support or dependency groups in case the incident has a linkage to other support personnel.
6. Improve stability of the production environment by assisting in setting up, maintaining and monitoring applications/system
7. Monitor the performance of the environment by using meaningful metrics
8. Work effectively as a team, supporting other members of the team in resolving critical service issues
9. Prioritize and manage own workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines
10. Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
11. Participate in knowledge transfer within the team
