The organization has a strong reputation for successfully delivering water and sewer infrastructure projects, including the construction of water and sewage treatment facilities, aggregate crushing operations, and road construction across large portions of Northern Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Job Type: Full-time, Office
Location: Rosser, MB
Wage: $20–$24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Regular 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
License: Valid driver’s license required; no public transportation available
Experience: 1 year of project cost control experience preferred

 

Position Summary

The Project Administrator will be responsible for daily project tracking and administrative support for multiple civil construction projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a junior-level administrator to gain valuable experience in civil infrastructure and construction project administration.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain databases for tracking labour and equipment usage.
  • Maintain and organize project files and documentation.
  • Organize and interpret project-related costs.
  • Assist with project cost tracking and administrative reporting.
  • Suggest and implement improved work methods and systems relating to administrative tasks.
  • Provide general administrative support to project teams.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Previous project administration experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Experience with project cost control is an asset.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
