Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Engage in daily client communication within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritize projects with a keen sense of urgency.
  • Collaborate with the Production Planner to organize schedules for various departments including woodshop, upholstery, sewing, shipping, assembly, foam, and pillows.
  • Ensure seamless execution of jobs from scheduling to timely shipping.
  • Foster teamwork from project inception to completion, staying informed about progress.
  • Monitor progress meticulously and establish clear deadlines.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed and aligned with the plan.
  • Liaise closely with the purchasing department to issue accurate work orders and assign them to the appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Coordinate shipping schedules for projects involving both external clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain close communication with the internal design team, ensuring timely client approvals.
  • Manage extensive correspondence with both external clients and internal staff.

  • Proficient in critical thinking to solve complex problems.
  • Approachable and eager to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Collaborative team player, unafraid to voice inquiries.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments handling time-sensitive and confidential data.
  • Demonstrates exemplary organizational prowess.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, with a deep understanding of Microsoft Office software.
  • Capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Skilled in proposing ideas to enhance accuracy and foster company growth.
  • Displays a minor interest in sales, design, and hospitality.
  • Certification as a PMP for 2+ years is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience is required.
  • Proven track record in scheduling and planning.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Dedicated to continual learning and personal growth within the company, committed to advancing skills and contributing optimally.
