Schedule: Monday to Friday, 38–40 hours/week

About the Role:
Staffmax is hiring on behalf of a well-established, family-owned property management company that owns and manages over 450 residential units in Winnipeg’s West Broadway area. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Property Administrator / Bookkeeping Assistant to support daily operations, both on the administrative and financial sides of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support daily office administration and bookkeeping functions

  • Assist the in-house accountant with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and maintaining financial records

  • Work closely with Property Managers on lease renewals, new and outgoing tenant packages, and documentation management

  • Provide administrative support to the property management, maintenance teams, and ownership

  • Monitor and replenish office supplies as needed

  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in bookkeeping, office administration, or property management (required)

  • At least 2 years of office experience in a similar administrative or bookkeeping role

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
