QA / QC Test Lead

Location Address: Hybrid 1-2 days a week
Contract Duration: 6 months
Number of Positions: 1
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm (flexible), Monday-Friday
pay rate $  75-  $ 78.51 /hr.

The candidate will gain valuable exposure to international teams across company  and work towards completing a cross team upgrade program

Job Responsibilities:
• Define test objectives and create test strategy and test plans
• Collaborate with product vendors, Onsite/Offshore groups to setup and align the upstream and downstream environments
• To represent quality assurance team in the status meetings with stakeholders to review issues and escalate challenges
• Defect Management – Articulation of defects in detailed manner and monitor resolution efforts and track successes, organize defect triage meetings
• Proactive collaboration with business groups, application owners to analyze test requirements
• Maintaining of test artifacts in JIRA , participate in Requirements/User story grooming, and stakeholder demos.
• Experience working as part of larger QA program, working very closely with program team
• To manage tasks and deliver milestones

Must have Skills:
• 10+ Years of overall QA experience
• 5+ Years of Experience as a QA Lead
• 3 + Years of Experience in Asset Management Domain specifically in Trading is must. Knowledge on Asset/Wealth management concepts:
i) PMAR, Portfolio Management, Order management, Trade matching, Post trade processes, IBOR
ii) Hands-on expertise on End to End Order entry flows – Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, SWAPS
• Expertise in understanding/validation of securities trade life cycle and Settlement process, front to back (Security master to custodian)
• Experience working on data flow validation between upstream and downstream interfaces, batch jobs
• Execute and manage various levels of testing - Functional (IST, UAT), Regression and End to End testing
• Experience working on Charles River Investment Management system (CRIMS), Bloomberg

Nice to have:
• Experience working on FIX protocol
• CFA charter holder/ CSC professional certification
Education:
• Degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
