Contract Duration: 11/06/2023 to 12/31/2023 – approx. 1.5 months - not able to get approval for longer for now but expecting it to come in Nov
Strong possibility of extension (to next FYE Oct 31 2024 and further– this would be a long-term contract) & conversion to FTE

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Story Behind the Need
Business group: Branch, Analytics and Insurance – dealing with campaigns for the Bank, and Scene loyalty points
Project: LSL Deliveries – maintenance items for the loyalty program - to manage offshore QAs and perform testing

Typical Day in Role:
• Testing microservices' end to end flow
• Coordinate with teams and partners for the testing efforts – main stakeholders: development team, business team, third party teams
- QA Lead will be managing 2 offshore resources
- Develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution.
- Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
- Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
- Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content
- Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 5-7 years’ experience as a QA Lead
2) 2+ years’ experience with Postman
3) 2+ years’ experience with SQL Debugger
4) 2+ years’ experience SQL Database

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) 3+ years’ experience with microservices, APIs
2) 2+ years’ experience with Kafka
