QE Tester - Banking Applications
Location Address: Hybrid -, Scarborough – Tue &Thu days in office at Scarborough location as project is based there – need to be in GTA
Contract Duration: ASAP to Oct 31, 23' approx. 2.5 months
Possibility of extension
Pay Rate- $35-$41.08/hr.
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

Typical Day in Role:
- Attend Scrum ceremonies
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Perform different levels of testing based on requirements – Functional, Regression, UI and
Accessibility testing.
- Create Test deliverables - Test Strategy, Test Cases and Test Exit Report
- Test execution, Bug Reporting and conduct / participate in triage meetings
- Analyze/interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) 5+ years of work experience as a QE Tester (manual + automation – recent automation experience is preferable) with demonstrated proficiency in testing Native mobile apps
2) 2+ Years hands on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools (Playwright / Appium / Maestro)
3) 2+ Years TSYS experience (including knowledge on how to set up test cards, query data)

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Recent project experience with Charles Proxy AND Postman
2) Ability to Check device log files (ADB , Log cat) and report crash logs
3) Experience with Testing iOS and/or Android mobile applications
4) Experience with native accessibility testing - TalkBack & VoiceOver
5) Tester experience preferably in a Banking environment

Soft Skills Required:
• Good communication skills
• Team player

Education:
- Associate degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
- CSTE, ISTQB certifications an asset
