As a member of the recruitment team, your role will encompass a variety of important tasks aimed at identifying and securing top talent for the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
Location: Transcona, Winnipeg Pay Rate: TBD Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm Contract: 4 weeks Job Responsibilities • Thoroughly review incoming resumes to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and suitability for open positions. • Shortlist candidates for further evaluation based on the qualifications outlined in the job description. • Conduct initial phone or virtual interviews to pre-screen candidates, ensuring they meet the basic eligibility requirements for the role. • Coordinate with hiring managers and candidates to schedule interviews, ensuring the process runs smoothly and efficiently. • Contact candidates' professional references to verify employment history, work performance, and other relevant qualifications. • Document feedback and insights from references to provide the hiring team with additional context on the candidate’s suitability. • Ensure that all necessary documentation is collected from new hires, including identification, certifications, and proof of qualifications. • Confirm that required background checks, drug tests, or other pre-employment requirements are completed. • Organize all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner for smooth onboarding. Required Skillset: • Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written. • Ability to analyze and assess candidates' qualifications and solve recruitment challenges. • Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with candidates and team members. • Always represent the organization with integrity and professionalism.
