Marketing and Communications Specialist - Industrial

Our newest client working with us, Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is seeking a Marketing genius who can help take their Winnipeg location to the next level. This is the first time they are investing in a professional Marketing and Communications person!

To be considered you will need to have industrial mechanical knowledge particularly in the transportation /farm or construction manufacturing marketing background.

Manufacturing plants in Canada, USA, and Asia – 3 offices and sales worldwide

Your role will be the creation, implementation and customer focused marketing campaigns supporting the sales department in Canada. This content will engage prospects and current customers all while helping the sales team succeed.

Duties to include:

• Brochures, social media content and articles
• Track sales data, maintain promotional and literature database, plan meetings and tradeshows, prepare reports
• Assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, prepare marketing strategies, plans and objectives.
• Support sales staff by using data collection, market trends, forecasting and account analysis.
• Support Regional sales managers by improving engagement with existing customers
• Create reports in CRM
• Ensure sales and management are debriefed with marketing campaigns and activities

 

Must Haves:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Direct experience with marketing industrial equipment (Large Transportation, farm, or construction equipment)
• Knowledge of industry trends in manufacturing of industrial/construction equipment
• Experience with municipal, industrial and construction industry
• Administration, marketing, or communications degree preferred
• CRM experience, Salesforce an asset
• Proficient in MS Office
• Firm grasp on various marketing platforms and channels

Hours/Compensation and Benefits:

• 7-3:30pm flexible start/end
• Base plus commission – please include your expected salary in cover-letter
