Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct planned preventative and predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records;
- Check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing;
- Diagnose refrigeration equipment and systems, recommend corrective action and perform required repairs;
- Repair, maintain and adjust system components and/or remove and replace defective parts;
- Analyze, trouble shoot, repair and restore equipment and systems to full operation;
- Calibrate and maintain components and instruments according to manufacturers specifications;
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and other specifications;
- Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, systems (MAU, RMAU, Parallel compressor rack systems);
- Install and maintain controllers on new and existing refrigeration equipment;
- Assist in planning, and organization of task/job requirements;
- Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures.
Skills & Requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
- Must have commercial refrigeration /HVAC experience;
- Must have competent electrical and electronics skills;
- Must have great communication skills and a “teamwork approach”;
- Must be able to contribute to the “on call” rotation;
- Red Seal Journeyperson HVAC/R, Gas “A” ticket or a “B” will also be accepted.
