Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is assisting our clients to hire an experienced Regional Fire Manager to be based in their Regina, SK regional office.

The Regional Manager is responsible for achieving their financial goals in their respective region by attracting and retaining the company's Fire Protection customers, and hitting revenue and gross margin targets. In addition to managing direct staff in their region, they develop close, collaborative relationships with all company managers.


Operations Management

  • Ownership of Technician productivity metrics, scheduling efficiencies
  • Admin planning and preparation for executing service work
  • Ownership of customer service quality, ensuring we deliver and meet customer expectations
  •  Ensures company's Standard operating procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Use metrics to monitor and manage HR procedures for all resources (supported by CFO), development plans, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, safety compliance (supported by Safety Officer), monitor safety metrices, manage compliance
  • Fleet Management (supported by Operating Officer), including ensuring Technicians are provided proper vehicles for work performed, verify vehicle inspections completed monthly, verify and ensure preventative maintenance is completed on time, approve all vehicle repairs in conjunction with Fleet Coordinator, ensure overall fleet costs are managed (Fuel spend vs KM), and overall maintenance costs vs replacement
  • Co-ordinate local Resources with Project delivery (Supported by the Construction Director) including project management activities, participate in weekly regional work in progress (WIP) meeting
  • Maintain strong relationships with the local Unions

Sales Support and Management

  • Monitor and Support all Sales opportunities in the region
  • Be active and visual in the local community promoting the company brand
  • Regularly meet with key customers to support current and future sales opportunities
  • Manage growth (supported by BDM), including ensuring consistent sales backlog is driving booking backlog, and that there is constant growth in key markets
  • Ensure margins are set to local market conditions and in line with the growth strategy

Financial Management

  • Ownership of Regional P&L, including the management of revenues, flattening peaks and valleys, service work month to month
  • Ensure revenue is recorded in the correct period and billings are completed accurately
  • Manage Profits through cost cutting and implementing efficiencies
  • Manage Cash Flow, including investigating and rectifying past due accounts as needed and managing DSO to established targets
  • Submit Accurate Monthly Forecasts for revenue, sales and cash inflow


  • 3-5 years technical experience in the Fire Protection industry
  • Management and supervisory experience
  • Experience in Fire Suppression
  • Experience in the fire protection in mining industry is an advantage
  • Sales & Operations experience
  • P&L and Financial Analysis experience 


  • $80k-$90k/year (DOQ)
