Our team is actively seeking Registered Nurses specializing in Emergency Department care for exciting travel assignments across the breathtaking landscapes of Nova Scotia. You'll be at the forefront of delivering healthcare services in both hospital and long-term care settings. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in providing patient care following established care plans and adhering to all professional practice standards.

This is a TRAVEL opportunity. Applicants must be willing and available for deployment within Canada for a minimum of 30 days or more. We offer flexible agreement durations, with additional incentives for extended deployments. All travel and accommodation expenses are fully covered by CHL.

Qualifications Required:

  • Hold a Diploma/Degree in Nursing and maintain active registration in good standing with your provincial governing body.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent, full-time Canadian Emergency Department experience is a must.
  • Demonstrated expertise in patient- and family-centered care.
  • Proficiency in clinical skills encompassing assessment, physical examinations, and nursing interventions.
  • Ability to build relationships grounded in mutual respect and trust.
  • Capacity to exercise independent judgment and discern the need for consultations.
  • Commitment to respecting and promoting cultural diversity.
  • Must be willing and able to travel within Canada.

Certifications Required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Proficiency in Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS)
  • Completion of Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with provincial Immunization Policy.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.
