Registered Physiotherapist

Registered Physiotherapist - Temp (July 4th to July 8th)

Location: Toronto, ON

Pay Rate: $40 to $45 per hour

We have an immediate position available for a Registered Physiotherapist. The position is temporary for 5 days.

Our client is a busy, multidisciplinary, progressively thinking company with a modern approach to client care looking to hire the right physiotherapist to work alongside our team of health professionals.

We have developed a strong referral base with local medical and legal professionals and have an excellent relationship with insurers. We have a strong repeat client base and offer a friendly work environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client-centered care.

Our clients may present with a myriad of musculoskeletal injuries and a variety of post-operative care needs.

We have worked diligently towards putting all necessary safety precautions and protocols in place and minimize all unnecessary traffic within the clinic.

 

Roles include:

• Performing clinical assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans for clients.

• Providing ongoing evaluation and revision of client treatment programs.

• Communicating with patients and coordinating with staff members.

• Engaging in continuous learning and skills development.

• Contributing to a positive patient experience.

• Experience with MVA and WSIB cases is an asset.

• Record keeping (SOAP notes).

• Communicating with client referral sources.

 

Qualified candidates must:

• Be licensed and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapy, Ontario Physiotherapy Association (or will soon be eligible) and have malpractice insurance.

• Have current CPR certification.

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrate effectiveness as an interdisciplinary team member.

• Demonstrate problem-solving skills, good judgment and flexibility.

• Be familiar will all modalities including: Shockwave Therapy, Decompression Table, Laser Therapy, Ultrasound, IFC/TENS.
