Join us as a Reviser in Translation Services, utilizing your expertise across a spectrum of technical and creative texts spanning procurement, HR, IT, policy, finance, and more. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Reviewing documents translated by the team and external providers
  • Ensuring translation quality through meticulous checks for concordance, accuracy, and clarity
  • Establishing and managing an extensive terminology database
  • Keeping abreast of government and task-related terminologies
  • Assisting in pioneering new translation methodologies
  • Cultivating strong relationships with internal clients, external partners, and networks
  • Upholding stringent quality benchmarks

As the ideal candidate, you'll have the flexibility to choose your work location. Whether you prefer remote work from any location in Canada or an in-person role in Ottawa at our headquarters for quarterly team meetings, we accommodate both preferences. For those in the National Capital Region, we currently offer a hybrid model with two days in the office and three days remote.

Your qualifications include:

A mastery of both English and French, along with proficient knowledge in:

  • Translation software and terminology management databases
  • Current trends and best practices in translation, editing, comparative review, and terminology

Educational Background: A university degree in translation, terminology, linguistics, or a related field Experience: Minimum of five years in editing and comparative review of translated documents, preferably within an agency setting
