Staffmax Staffing is working with our clients to hire 2 experienced Sales/Customer Service Representatives to provide support for internal and external clients in Winnipeg. These are Full-Time Permanent positions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of product line, prices, delivery time, drop ship items, various marketing and promotional services to facilitate customer inquiries.
- Promotes conflict resolution between the employer and its clientele and/or business partners.
- Assists walk-in customer transactions through order taking, order processing, preparation of items through picking, samples and organizing necessary paperwork for completion of a sale.
- Provides quotation to customers by giving information about product, current stock level, pricing and lead time.
- Encoding of orders by taking into account correct part numbers entered, accurate pricing, quantity, date of delivery, ROS after, shipping destination and any special instructions.
- Checks bin locations and inventory to make sure the quantity requested for an order is complete and shipped to what is specified on the client’s purchase order.
- Provides confirmation to customers with regards to pricing and ETA. Informs the clients of any backorders or delays.
- Follow up with back orders daily
- Analyzes transactions, corrects records, adjusts errors and countercheck ROS to make sure that pricing would lean towards an acceptable margin of profit as set by the salespeople and managers.
- Monitor backorders and pending orders on a daily basis until merchandise is received to ensure that orders are shipped in a timely manner to avoid customer operation being compromised.
- Coordinates with Warehouse Manager and Receiving department for pickups, returns, replacements and scheduling of delivery as per customer’s request.
- Coordinates with Slitting and the production team by entering factory ticket and maintaining a list for production.
- Works closely with specific Sales reps by processing their orders, building delivery receipts, confirmation, identifying that they are properly supported and in a position to focus on acquiring new businesses for the company.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years' experience with inside sales
- Great customer service focus
- Ability to resolve customer issues (e.g. pricing, service, warranty complaints, etc.)
- Ability to organize and carry-out daily, weekly and monthly schedules
- A demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client service both in person and on the phone
- Excellent communication skills and effective listening skills.
- Experience working under pressure and setting priorities

- Self confident, positive mentality
- Comfortable interacting with prospective customers
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8AM-5PM (1 hour lunch break)
Salary:
- $30,000-35,000/year (DOQ)
