Senior Accountant / Public Accounting Firm

Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is currently searching for a Senior Accountant for our professional client in Charleswood.

Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities:

Preparation/review of notice to reader, review engagement and audited financial statements.

Preparation/review of personal and corporate income tax returns and other tax slips

Preparation/review of GST and PST returns

Work directly with personal and corporate tax clients and government agencies

Managing and providing training to other staff members

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of public practice experience in CANADA

Knowledge of Caseware, Jazzit, Profile, DT Max, Sage 50, QuickBooks (desktop and online) an asset (please ensure you list on cover or resume all software)

Completed CPA Accounting designation OR close to completion and 5 years public practice in Canada

Strong written and verbal English communication skills
