Senior Fire Alarm Technician – Service, Inspection & Installation (CFAA Certified Required)

We are seeking a CFAA-Certified Senior Fire Alarm Technician to join our fire alarm and life safety division, which is undergoing significant growth and positive change and new management.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is looking for more responsibility, leadership involvement, and long-term career growth
What You’ll Do
- Perform inspections, verifications, service, and troubleshooting in accordance with CAN/ULC-S536 & S537
- Install, program, commission, and maintain fire alarm systems
- Complete and review Verification Inspection reports
- Lead or support crews on larger projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Act as a key point of contact with clients, contractors, and engineers
- Mentor junior technicians and support team development
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Requirements
- Valid CFAA Certification (required)
- Minimum 5 years experience in fire alarm service, inspection, and or installation
- Strong understanding of National, Provincial, and Municipal Fire Codes
- Proven troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
- M-Class Electrical License
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
- Ability to work safely in field environments (lifts, ladders, confined spaces)
