Staffmax is currently seeking to fill positions for 9 Housemen and 6 Servers for a 2-day event taking place on June 5th to June 7th.
Job Duties for Servers:
- Setting up tables and chairs
- Serving food to guests
- Clearing dishes and tables
Requirements for Servers:
- White button-down dress shirts
- Black pants
- Plain black shoes
Responsibilities for Housemen:
- Demonstrate Accor Service Promise Standards and Values in all interactions with guests and colleagues
- Maintain uniform and adhere to Fairmont Hotels and Resorts grooming standards
- Perform physical setup and teardown of meeting and function rooms
- Provide additional items to servers, bartenders, and other departments to ensure smooth service
- Serve in banquet functions as required
- Adhere to hotel's allergy policy and maintain supplies of houseman equipment
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in work areas
- Participate in departmental communication meetings
- Follow proper radio etiquette
- Maintain banquet facilities, storage areas, and equipment in an orderly and safe manner
- Attend shift briefings and complete Banquet standard tasks
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and safe work practices
- Support the hotel's environmental policies and Planet 21 initiatives
- Complete any other assigned duties

Monday June 5:
- 7 am-2 pm – House person x1
- 11am - 6 pm – House person x2, Server x5
- 6 pm-11 pm – House person x2, Server 2
Tuesday June 6:
- 6:30 am - 11 am - Server x7
- 3 pm - 8 pm – House person x2
- 6:30 pm - 11:30 pm - Server x4
- 11 pm - 7 am – House person x2, Server x4
Wednesday, June 7:
- 6:30 am - 11 am - Server x5
- 11:30 am - 5:30 pm - Server x5.
The wage for both roles is $16.00 per hour.
