Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is working with our clients to urgently hire an experienced Service Writer/Parts Associate to join their Mississauga, ON location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare work orders
  • Maintain service department vendor, customer and labour reports
  • Receive and respond to requests for parts, service or warranty, customer inquiries and requests from service technicians
  • Prepare parts quotations for approval and process purchase orders
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for service technicians
  • Review and ensure completion of the administrative requirements for service contracts
  • Review job costing reports and submit for manager approval
  • Liaise with accounts receivable on customer accounts and payments
  • Prepare invoices for freight recovery
  • Maintain Warranty database
  • General office duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient computer skills using Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Fluent spoken and written English and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer service experience required
  • Warranty submission experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt, multitask and manage competing priorities and adhere to timelines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with data collection and entries

The purpose of our Service Writer/Parts Associate is to provide administrative support to the service department. This role is responsible for the administration of scheduling, coordinating, and documenting a broad spectrum of preventative, routine, repair, and emergency maintenance activities. Also they will be responsible for the maintain, communicating, tracking and administration of warranty claims. They will provide parts information and inventory.

PAY:

$25-$30/hour (DOQ)
