Shipper

Staffmax is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Shipper to load products according to load sheets, ensure proper spacing and quality, and complete all required shipping documentation.

Main Responsibilities

• Load trailers according to load sheets and plant requirements.

• Ensure proper spacing of products using spacers or dunnage to prevent damage.

• Perform quality control checks for product counts, quality, and load spacing.

• Operate a forklift safely. Certification or training is required.

• Take clear and accurate pictures of completed loads.

• Communicate any discrepancies, shortages, overages, or load concerns to the Head Shipper or Supervisor.

• Assist with trailer shunting; a valid driver's licence is required.

• Assist with plant cleanup, mandrel changes, paper delivery, and other duties as required.

• Report equipment or tool issues to the Shift Supervisor.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Assist with training new employees when required.

• Work safely and efficiently while supporting coworkers, maximizing productivity, and minimizing waste.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Forklift certification or willingness to complete training.

• Valid driver's licence.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Good communication skills.
