Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Assistant will receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments, transfers, and related communication to stores, and assist with warehouse organization and seasonal inventory taking. This position requires a highly motivated individual with good computer, filing, and numerical skills, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy to support the daily operations of the Distribution Centre, including receiving and shipping, accurate order processing and handling, inventory control, and compliance with all health and safety requirements under provincial and federal law. Key Job Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively as Assistant to the Warehouse Manager and as part of the Distribution Centre team to ensure timely receipt, storage, inventory control, shipment, and documentation of hanging garments, products, and store supplies.
• Assist in loading and unloading product, including hanging garments and boxes of accessories weighing up to 15–23 kg (50 lbs).
• Receive incoming shipments, conduct verification counts, note discrepancies/damages, and scan and ticket product.
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins based on size, type, style, colour, or product code.
• Print tickets, verify scanning, and prepare store transfer lists.
• Enter inventory data into computer systems and flag discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, and prepare store orders according to schedules and packing lists.
• Prepare weekly store communication regarding deliveries and transfers.
• Track alterations and damaged goods and update inventory systems accordingly.
• Support physical inventory counts, audits, and accuracy checks.
• Assist in warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse systems, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Excel).
• Good communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (15–23 kg).
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
