Position Details

Job Title: Shipper / Receiver & Route Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Starting at $22.00/hour

Schedule

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • 4:00 a.m. start (Monday to Thursday)
  • 7:00 a.m. start (Sunday)
  • Overtime and adjusted shifts may be required based on operational needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily shipping and receiving operations accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, inspect, label, and organize incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Safely load and unload products.
  • Verify orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and optimize delivery routes throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with drivers, carriers, and customers.
  • Maintain shipment schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Operate forklifts and power jacks safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Assist with inventory control and general warehouse organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, and dispatching/route planning.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and route coordination.
  • Knowledge of Winnipeg and Manitoba road networks is an asset.
  • Forklift and power jack certification or demonstrated operating experience.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
