Job Description: Shipper/Receiver – Order Picker

Location: Waverly Area Winnipeg

Position Overview

Staffmax is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver – Order Picker for a busy warehouse operation. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience and be comfortable using scanning guns and pick-to-voice technology to accurately select and prepare customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using scanning guns and pick-to-voice technology.

• Receive, verify, sort, and process incoming shipments.

• Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipping.

• Check products and quantities against order documents to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain organized inventory and warehouse locations.

• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving products as required.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Work efficiently to meet daily productivity and order accuracy targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience in order picking, shipping, or receiving.

• Experience using RF scanners or handheld scanning guns is preferred.

• Familiarity with pick-to-voice order-picking technology is highly desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Good communication skills and a reliable work ethic.

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
