Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Warehouse Associate to join our team in Edmonton. This role involves order fulfillment, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and occasional light assembly work. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a warehouse environment, interacting with customers, and using basic computer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately
- Perform inventory counts and quality inspections to ensure product accuracy
- Assist with light assembly tasks as required
- Receive incoming shipments and process outbound shipments using couriers such as FedEx and UPS
- Manually move materials and products throughout the warehouse (no forklift operation required)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service when assisting customers and contractors visiting the warehouse
- Assist with basic website-related tasks (training provided)
- Support general warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Experience with order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move materials manually
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel is an asset
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
