Title: Shipping/Receiving Associate
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shifts: M – F, Rotational shifts
Job Type: Temp. to Hire (ON-SITE)
Role & Responsibilities:
Shipping
- Packaging to internal and customer specifications
- Utilizing third party software to arrange cost effective shipping
- Access contracts and create appropriate shipping documents from company ERP systems
- Communicate with sales team, truck drivers and customers to ensure cost-effective timely shipments
Receiving
- Unloading trucks using appropriate equipment, including forklift
- Unpacking, receiving and input all inbound product into the appropriate ERP system, including the completion of all necessary paperwork
- Locate all product into appropriate warehouse location
- Managing communication with other departments
Inventory Control
- Updating ERP systems and physical binning of inventory as directed
- Pick orders for configuration and shipments
Skills & Experience:
- Forklift license is required
- Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping is preferred
- Ability to learn ERP systems and attention to detail is required
- Moderate lifting required
