Social Media Specialist

Job description

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who can help our client increase their business of Vehicle Wash/Fleet Wash in social media channels, help drive traffic.

Shift: Monday to Friday,
Term: Temp to Permanent (First 4 months will be part time with 25-30hrs/week, with the opportunity to become a full-time, permanent job)
Location: Toronto
rate of Pay- $18-20/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grow brand presence on all social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
Provide creative design for various company campaigns including project branding, website creation, email campaign collateral, and marketing materials
Manage the setup, creation, and scheduling of social content (static, animation, video, etc.)
Engage with and responds to visitors across all social platforms
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

REQUIREMENTS:

Understanding of and a passion for social media and community building
Strong understanding of social media best practices, keeping up with the latest industry trends and social media advancements
Ability to respond rapidly and professionally to reputation management issues
Strong writing skills with understanding of brand messaging and tone
Knowledge of digital media software – Photoshop or other graphic design software an asset
A self-starter who works well independently as well as collaboratively within a team
