Solar Panel Installation Helper/General Labour

Staffmax is seeking full-time Solar Installation Technician's helper or General Labour for one of our client's in Markham, ON. This is a fulltime position.

Location: Markham, ON
Day shift
Pay Rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lifting and transporting solar panels and other necessary materials
• Participate in the preparation of work, worksite, and material 
• Ensure all necessary materials and tools are ready for the job
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Complete site checks, clean up, lift up to 50lbs and report the progress at the end of each day work

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have Working at Heights certificate
• Experience / comfortable standing and working on pitched rooftops
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Mechanically inclined / experience in working with your hands, hand tools, and power tools
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions
