Job Description: Sous Chef
Wage: 17/hour
Shifts : Hours required Sunday - Thursday 6:00am to 11:00pm
Friday - Saturday 6:00am to 2:00am
Long weekends 6:00am to 2:00am
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Basic Breakfast Items: Cook eggs, bacon, and other breakfast items to order, ensuring high quality and presentation.
- Grill and Fry: Prepare burgers, fries, and other grill items according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and notify the kitchen manager of any shortages or needs.
- Customer Service: Interact with hotel guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to cook a variety of breakfast items and basic grill items.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have food serving certificate
