They play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, maintaining food stock levels, and planning and directing meal preparation in line with company standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to and uphold all company values, policies, and procedures to protect and enhance the brand and foster a positive company culture.
  • Oversee daily culinary operations and ensure healthy and safe work practices.
  • Assist in scheduling culinary staff based on business needs, trends, and budget considerations in a timely manner.
  • Order inventory and culinary supplies as needed, and receive and inspect deliveries upon arrival.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
This role may be ideal for you if:
  • You have 2-5 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • You have knowledge of food serving methods and procedures, principles of sanitation, and safe food handling practices, and you demonstrate the ability to lead and direct a team.
  • You have the flexibility to work extended hours as required.
  • A professional diploma or food services management qualification is an asset but not mandatory.
