Staffmax is hiring for one of its clients located in, who is changing the relationship between public safety agencies and their software providers. Everything they do originates from their focus on customer experience and outcomes.  


We are in search of an experienced Product Manager to lead a cross functional team developing our public safety focused community engagement solution. It builds upon best practices in the private sector and is driven by years of on-the-ground experience in law enforcement. SPIDR Tech is designed to help public safety agencies improve public perception, decrease liability, and boost staff efficiency. 



The Product Manager is responsible for product planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the product lifecycle. The Product Manager should be laser focused on WHY from a user perspective and the value to the user. The Product Manager should be data driven to challenge or validate hypotheses. 

The Product Manager must be curious and empathetic. The ability to deeply understand the user’s workflow and evaluate value to the user and the customer are key requirements. 

Collaboration and the ability to effectively work within a matrixed environment are critical for the Product Manager. The Product Manager will need to be able to motivate and provide direction to a wide spectrum of development, sales, marketing, and support resources that do not directly report to the Product  



  • Minimum 5 years of work experience within a software development organization 

  • Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle 

  • Passport or ability to obtain the same 

  • Preferred experience with Aha! 

  • Preferred experience creating business cases and quantifying value to set priorities 

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills 



  • Empathetic and able to understand the user and customer value 

  • Ability to lead and inspire others 

  • Data driven approach 

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills  

  • Accountability for actions and results 

  • Client service orientation
