Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Account Executive to join our senior leadership team and oversee Commercial Operations. You will focus on driving revenue, building the teams brand, and expanding our fan base through community engagement, ticket sales, sponsorships, and partnerships. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth and visibility in the GTA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow ticket sales, sponsorships, and partnership revenues.
- Identify and target strategic partnerships with corporations and community organizations.
- Community Engagement:
- Build strong relationships within the community to enhance our brand and fan base.
- Lead initiatives to partner with local small businesses.
- Partnership Management:
- Prospect and manage partner accounts to ensure alignment with our mission and values.
- Design and present customized partnership solutions highlighting key value propositions.
- Collaborate with the marketing and game day operations teams to deliver exceptional fan experiences.
- Sales Execution:
- Conduct research to identify new revenue opportunities and assess risks.
- Create impactful, on-brand sales presentations to reflect partner synergies.
- Support ticketing departments by leveraging partnerships to drive ticket sales.
- Networking & Outreach:
- Represent the Team at events and networking opportunities.
- Engage in off-site meetings with prospects and clients across the GTA.
Success Measures:
- Achieve departmental revenue and service-level KPIs.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with partners and prospects.
- Cultivate new partnerships to drive incremental revenue.
- Ensure high standards of service to encourage partnership renewals.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3 years of experience in event or sports sales.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Established business network and presence in the GTA market.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation for off-site meetings and events.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and match days as required.
