Staffmax is partnering with our client—an innovative Canadian luxury lifestyle brand—to find a visionary Store Director for their new flagship boutique opening in Winnipeg. The Store Director will serve as the cultural, operational, and client-facing leader of this flagship location. You’ll build and shape a team from the ground up, deliver a world-class customer experience, and bring the brand’s vision to life in every detail.
Key Responsibilities

Champion the client’s luxury retail experience by ensuring every interaction reflects personalized service and purposeful storytelling.

Recruit, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, driving sales KPIs and fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and innovation.

Manage the store’s full financial performance, including sales goals, payroll, inventory, and operational efficiency.

Build strong, lasting relationships with VIP clientele through clienteling, events, and community engagement initiatives.

Collaborate with visual, merchandising, and corporate partners to maintain brand consistency and local relevance.

Uphold sustainability, compliance, and asset protection standards aligned with the company’s values-driven mission.
Qualifications

5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, including at least 2 years in a Store Director or equivalent role within a luxury or premium retail environment.

Proven track record of driving business results through people leadership and operational excellence.

Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.

Expertise in clienteling and luxury customer relationship management (VIC/VVIC).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a refined, professional presence.

Post-secondary education in business, fashion, or a related field is considered an asset.
