Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is currently hiring an experienced Structural Welder/Fabricator to immediately join our valued clients team in their Winnipeg location.
Responsibilities:
- Use and operate metal fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints/drawings
- Fit, fabricate and make jigs and fixtures used in production welding
- Structural welding
- Use torches and tools to cut and shape metal pieces
- Use power tools to install and align metal parts
- Weld metal pieces together using proper tools and safety equipment
- Operate metal shaping equipment
- Clean up and tidy work stations
- Follow company safety procedures
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years metal fabrication experience
- Accurate blueprints/drawings reading experience
- CWB Certified; Red Seal and/or Structural ticket (an advantage)
- Jigs, fixtures and structural welding experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable and safe work ethics.
Wage:
- $22-$26 per hour (depending on qualifications & experience)
