TIG Welder / Fabricator

Are you a TIG Welder in Ottawa with 2 or more years of experience?

We are seeking, for our client a TIG Welder to bond non-ferrous parts using a spot welder gun or semi- automatic electric or gas equipment while following work orders/blueprints

Duties:

• Review, read, and follow blueprints and prototypes on selected machinery
• set up and calibrate as needed
• cut, bend, preheat, form and weld
• ISO 9001:2008 standards apply
• Continuously clean work area
• Reporting to Supervisor
• Ontime completion and quality work will be checked and ability to troubleshoot is a strong asset

Education and Skills:

• Grade 10
• CWB certification
• Mathematical skills and ability to calculate angles, measurements and formulas
• Quality control on work as you are progressing

Location: off McPhillips in Weston area bus accessible
