Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is assisting our large North America wide client with the hiring of a Full-time permanent key member of the Talent Acquisition team as Talent Acquisition Manager

 

Responsibilities: planning, developing, and managing the talent acquisition activities. Ensuring recruitment strategies meet key programs and commitments including AAP, Community Benefits Framework (CBF), and Employment Plans commitment to the Workforce Planning team in strategies to create a diverse and inclusive workplace(s).

 

  • This is an essential service to all subsidiaries of our client.

  • Partner with local businesses, community representatives, social services, and educational facilities to promote and bring in top talent and uncover diversity, affirmative action, inclusion opportunities.
  • Learn and develop and advance companies cutting edge pipelines
  • Talent Acquisition experience sought from Manufacturing, hospitality, retail, agency, or high-volume recruiting

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $110-120,000 open to higher with the right person

Your Duties:

  • Develop and deliver an integrated sustainable talent acquisition strategy including hiring plans
  • Lead and identify sourcing methods for all hiring in partnership with the key HR team
  • Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecasts in conjunction with operations and ensure alignment between key stakeholders including operations, HR business partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with and educate leadership on the talent acquisition and recruitment landscape and translate business needs acquiring talent in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Identify, develop, and lead new programs and processes to enhance, promote and support diversity and inclusion strategies.
  • Assess and identify bottlenecks in the recruitment process and develop actions to address with HR partners and fellow recruiters.
  • Coach and empower leaders to be actively part of the recruitment and delivery of the employment brand.
  • Determine, create and implement HR and recruitment KPI’s that support the talent acquisition and recruitment functions.
  • Manage, track and report on all talent acquisition and recruitment requirements to meet daily operational needs along with key programs and plans.
  • Lead in partnership with the Workforce Development Team activities around training, development, and sourcing ideas to engage target communities in partnership with HR teams.

Must Haves to Succeed:

 

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years experience leading a Talent Acquisition Team to success or as a Recruitment Manager
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to connect and communicate with people of varying backgrounds, job positions, cultures, and communicative preferences.

Referral bonus that is hired: $1000.00 paid after probation
