Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is hiring for a 6-month term that could go permanent immediately or down the road - a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter for our clients manufacturing company.

- $28-31.00 hour DOQ could go higher for the right person
- Immediate hire due to the large influx of work and backlog of hiring that needs to be completed prior to 2024.
- Temporary 6-month or Temp to Permanent hire or Permanent on day one
Must Haves to Succeed:
- Manufacturing hiring experience a MUST
- 1 year experience preferably 5 years solid manufacturing Recruitment experience
- Knowledge of HR legislation and labour Laws
- Post-secondary education in a related human resources field or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategizing, refining recruitment methods, crafting compelling job postings, conducting interviews, orchestrating reference checks, and skillfully negotiating employment terms.
- Meticulously tracking progress and gathering insightful statistics to enhance our hiring efficiency.
- Proactively explore inventive recruitment avenues, collaborating with external partners as necessary, to ensure our talent needs are consistently met.
- Meticulously maintain and update our HR information systems, diligently capturing employee data such as onboarding, role transitions, salary modifications, and departures.
- Drive the successful execution of our programs, ensuring compliance with established protocols. Facilitate round table meetings, manage orientation checklists, feedback cycles, exit interviews, and oversee audits to maintain alignment with evolving industry standards.
- Employee Performance Records and salary administration data, fostering robust compliance within our operations.
- Collaborate on salary benchmarking, guaranteeing equitable and competitive compensation packages while aligning with internal equity standards.
- Keep our internal network updated with pertinent information, including new hires, service milestones, and retirees.
- Play a key role in the development and roll-out of essential HR policies and procedures. Regularly review and refine existing protocols to ensure currency and relevance.
- Provide adept guidance and support in labor relations, promoting harmonious interactions between leadership and employees.
- Act as a source of expert advice for employees and management, lending insight into recruitment, performance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline.
- Maintain impeccable records of employee correspondence, especially those related to performance management and salary administration, ensuring organizational transparency and accountability.
