Staffmax Staffing is looking to hire temporary Tax Preparer/Accountant for 8 weeks. We are seeking a candidate that has strong experience working in Income Tax preparation. Selected individual need to work every Wednesday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. This is 1 day assignment per week.

Location: Toronto( Major Intersection Pape Ave/O'ConnorDr)
Pay Rate: $19-20/hr
Term: March 8, 2023, to April 26, 2023
Time: Every Wednesday from 10:00am to 4:00pm

SELECTED INDIVIDUAL MUST BE AVAIALBLE FOR TRAINING ON MARCH 4TH (SATURDAY)

Job Requirement
•   Speak English, exceptional communication skills, Some Business/ Customer Service experience to interact with college students in-person when they come up their selves.
•   Adaptive to use our Accounting and Taxation Software “CCH iFirm”.
•   Fast learner, Team oriented, Ability to follow instructions .
•   Must be able to work alone with confidence and speak freely to our clients. Must not be reluctant to ask for help when needed.
•   Able to work directly and remotely with head office and owner.
•   Familiar with Google Drive and Microsoft Suite.
•   Preferably someone who drives and could Commute to other Centennial College Campus another day (if needed but not mandatory).
•   Serious individual only, Confidentiality agreement will be Signed, No criminal record proof will be required.
•   Rep ID needed – CRA clearance (we will guide how to get it).
•   We may contact the temporary employee for the next tax season too.
•   Business Accounting and Taxation background preferred.

Job Description
•   Enter clients information, make relevant notes, create invoices and add payments on our software iFirm. Get familiar with Tax Return Filing fee schedule.
•   Responsible for laptops, office supplies etc. and able to retrieve from College Campus Storage Area upon arrival every Wednesday.
•   Cell phone will be required for Multi Factor Authentication during working with CRA.
•   Will work remotely through Zoom, must be able to use laptop
