Staffmax Staffing is helping our clients, a leading local distributor of engineered process equipment for the Central Canada industrial and municipal markets in recruiting a personable technical Outside Sales Representative to work out of their Regina office. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships both internal & external by handling customer concerns/complaints
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding price & delivery information
- Travel to customer sites and troubleshooting and building a relationship of trust and support with their customers.
- Presenting solutions and ideas to customers in a one-on-one or group setting.
- Providing on-site start-up and commissioning technical support.
- Be responsible for sales representation of the Company in southern Saskatchewan territory
- Be a responsive liaison between the Company and customers on matters relating to the products they represent.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions to warranty & quality issues
- Maintain knowledge on new products and support sales growth in the territory.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Post-Secondary education in mechanical engineering or civil, municipal, or mechanical technology program is preferred.
- 5-10 years Technical background with outside sales experience
- Experience with pumps, valves or mechanical seals and/or industrial and municipal equipment is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), computer skills and customer service skills
- Attention to detail with strong documentation and follow up skills
- Personable, easy to work with cheerful demeanour.
- Able to lead, organize, prioritize, and multitask
- Capable of learning quickly and working independently, while embracing a team attitude
- Does not want to work behind a desk and likes to be in the field.
- Can demonstrate an ability to balance work-load with social activities and is comfortable interacting face-to-face with like minded individuals.
Salary:
- $85,000/per annum flat salary for the 1st year
- $30,000-$40,000 Commission opportunity above $85K in the 2nd year
- Vehicle Allowance/Mileage pay
