Temp- Information Professional Senior/Librarian (Cataloguer)

Staffmax is excited to welcome a Library Technician to our team in Toronto, ON. We're looking for a skilled individual to contribute to our dynamic environment. 

Mandatory: Level Two (2) Reliability Security Clearance required

Location  Yonge Blvd, Toronto, ON M5M 3H9   
  
Hours of Work  
8 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday with two 15 min breaks and one 30 min break for lunch.  
  
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS  
  
Education  
Master of Library or Information Science from an American Library Association accredited programme.  
  
Experience  
Six (6) months experience in the previous thirty-six (36) months in:  
1.                  Applying metadata standards for the cataloguing of print and electronic resources using the SIRSIDYNIX SYMPHONY or Horizon or ExLibris integrated library system in a college, university or special library;  
Duties  
1.                  Catalogue print and electronic as well as other resources in the?SIRSIDYNIX SYMPHONY integrated library system;  
2.                  Assist in collection development projects, including weeding;  
3.                  Other library tasks as assigned by contract coordinator.
