Location: Laval, QC
Pay Rate: $21 - $23/hr
Duration: 3-4 weeks (Starting Monday, April 7th)
Schedule: 8-10 hours per day
Job Overview:
We are seeking five (5) General Labourers with construction experience to join a new project in Laval, QC. This temporary position involves taking down and disassembling warehouse racks. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting heavy loads, comfortable working in a construction environment, and able to follow instructions effectively. Fluency in English and/or Spanish is required (French is not required).
Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload materials efficiently and safely.

Assist in disassembling material handling carts, shelves, racks, and workstations.

Removal of signage and stickers on racks, floors, and other surfaces.

Maintain cleanliness of the worksite by removing rubble, debris, and waste materials.

Operate, clean, and maintain various hand tools.
Requirements:

Construction experience, including handling power tools.

Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 45Kg (90 lbs).

Comfortable working in a construction setting with repetitive tasks.

Mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity.

Familiarity with small hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, cordless drills, and utility knives.

WHS RME and Contract Risk certification is an asset.

WOH (Working on Heights) certification is an asset.

Long pants (must cover from waist to ankle; no sweatpants or scrubs allowed)
